Installing
To install TaskClerk you need to download the msi (Microsoft install package) from
http://www.taskclerk.com/downloads.ashx or download the msi from on of the registed download sites. Once you have the installer on your computers hard disk you can run it by double clicking on the installer.

The first screen you see is the set-up splash screen. Click on Next to continue.

Here you can read and agree with the licence agreement. Click on Next to continue.

This dialog gives you the opportunity to auto start TaskClerk each time your computer starts, most users find this a useful action and also setup a default start-up event and action (available on the Tools Options menu once TaskClerk is running). Click on Next to continue.

Here you can choose where to install TaskClerk the application, most users install to the default location. If your organisation has a different location for applications you may need and your IT administrator to assist you here. Note: TaskClerk stores its data for you in your own isolated storage area; that way, if your share this machine with another person your data will be kept separate from theirs. Click on Next to continue.

Here you can confirm you want to install TaskClerk. Click on Next to continue.

The progress bar here shows TaskClerk installing onto your computer. This dialog will automatically move onto the next screen so all you need to do here is wait for it to complete, this process could take up to 2 minutes. On Windows Vista operating systems you might be asked to confirm an administrative action - this is normal TaskClerk install behaviour.

The install completed dialog informs you the install was a success. Click close to exit the installer.

There is now a new icon on your desktop so you can start using TaskClerk now!
